This site is dedicated to Big Healey Racing. Big Healeys, as compared with Sprites, have experienced a renaissance of late, despite the fact that in the early 1970's, racing of the Big Healey's in SCCA had dwindled to a mere few. It appears the new Austin Healey owner is more affluent as the cars have gained in value and there are a good amount in vintage racing... When the numbers dwindled in racing in the early seventies there were still many street Healeys used as daily drivers. However, by the end of the decade, most were no longer used for mundane transport.

This site will try to distinguish the big Healey's that raced in the 60's and 70's from the ones that continue the tradition in the new millennium. Information is being sought on the last Big Healey to win a SCCA National Championship, Allan Barker's 100-6 at the 1965 ARRC. Additionally, along with Big Austin Healeys, information will also be provided on the Jensen-Healey racing effort, both private and factory. Updates will continue and pictures and information are welcomed.
